Type: Personal project
Duration: 1 week
Objective: I noticed poor user experience design when rapid testing for covid-19 over the Christmas break (luckily negative!). I spoke with my friends and family and they had similar experiences. I decided to redesign the interface of these rapid tests to show how much more intuitive they can be.
Here are two examples of rapid test interfaces that are most common in Canada.
What is C and T??
C - Control line
T - Test line
S - Indicates "Sample"
Final Results
I focuses on the use of pictograms in-place of text for this texting unit to be applicable around the world.
I flipped the interface to a horizontal position and made the steps follow left to right.
Lastly, I wanted to keep the user at the test and not have to reference a legend on a separate manual.
